Foods for 3 day dietDay 3 of the presented diet counts only 1,000 calories in total. Try not to vary and exceed the amount on Day 3 menu shown below.

Note, that day 3 appears to be the hardest one.

3 day diet is also called Military. When you keep to this diet you can lose about ten pounds for the period of one week only.

Below you can see an approximate plan for the diet.


Drinks

The best drink on 3 day diet is water. You may drink any quantity of water! Do not add any sweeteners to water since it can badly influence the blood sugar. Herbal caffeine tea can be also taken in any quantities.

For those addicted to coffee: Coffee is a strongly needed product for many people and it is no wonder that there are a lot of questions how to intake coffee on the Military Diet! Black coffee is a low-calorie product (5 calories in a cup, even less).

So, you may drink it in a usual manner just cutting out a corresponding number of calories while taking other meals. But no cream or sugar are allowed to be added.


DAY 1

Breakfast
Grapefruit (1/2)
Toast slice (1)
Peanut Butter (2 Tablespoons)
Coffee or Tea (1 cup with caffeine)

Lunch
Tuna (1/2 Cup)
Toast slice (1)
1 cup Coffee or Tea (with caffeine)


Dinner
Meat (3 oz of any type)
Green beans (1 cup)
Banana (1/2)
One small apple
Vanilla ice cream (1 cup)


DAY 2

Breakfast
One egg
Toast slice (1)
Banana (1/2)

Lunch
Cottage cheese (1 cup)
One hard boiled egg
Five saltine crackers

Dinner
Two hot dogs (w/o bun)
Broccoli (1 cup)
Carrots (1/2 cup)
Banana (1/2)
Vanilla ice cream (1 cup)


DAY 3

Breakfast
Five saltine crackers
Cheddar cheese (One slice)
One small apple

Lunch
One hard boiled egg (or cooked to your taste)
Toast slice (1)

Dinner
Tuna (1/2 Cup)
Banana (1/2)
Vanilla ice cream (1 cup)

You will have no need to cook anything yourself for the diet. All products can be delivered just to your door.

Many people like the diet since it is very short in time and they dream of quick weight loss. However, it has been noted that many of them quickly come back to their original weight after the diet when they return to the habitual meals.
