To do abdominal crunches is better by influencing separate parts of the Ab – upper, middle, lower and obliques. In other words one day we act upon the upper Ab, then the middle etc. Workouts are to be slow feeling the muscles work.

Since muscles of the lower Ab are supplied with blood worse than the upper ones it will be more difficult to achieve rippling muscles at lower Ab than at the upper Ab. But if you keep to a diet and do exercises regularly and go in for cardio training, the result will make you happy.
